Elementary School Curriculum

English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR)

MyView provides a comprehensive instruction based on the Science of Reading. This curriculum encourages student curiosity and addresses reading, writing, social-emotional learning, and project-based inquiry. Students will be engaged in high-interest interactive and digital resources where they will have the opportunity to learn from the world around them. Aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), MyView provides students with purposeful, embedded, formative and summative assessments to ensure mastery of state standards.  

Math

GO Math! from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is a comprehensive Grade K-6 mathematics program developed to support the TEKS for Mathematics. The program emphasizes essential questions and big ideas with depth of understanding as a goal. Interactive lessons utilize research based instructional approaches and differentiated instructional resources to ensure success for all students. Students use a consumable textbook and manipulatives to reach the goal of understanding.

Science

ScienceFusion from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is a comprehensive science curriculum for grades K-8. Blending print and e-learning resources, ScienceFusion is engineered to help students with different learning styles be successful. It engages students in the world of science in a manner that will create enthusiasm and interest.

Social Studies 

Social Studies Weekly is intended to foster, grow, and engage students through a weekly newspaper designed as the ‘modern textbook.’ Social Studies Weekly is TEKS aligned and provides students with interactive lessons, texts, and age-appropriate material curated to help students gain mastery of their grade level expectations and linear learning as they move through each lesson. Social Studies Weekly provides weekly formative assessments to support data-driven instruction as well as summative assessments to provide teachers with feedback on their students’ overall performance.
